HaPPy BiRThDay, BiLlY!!! 11~30~75
William Lee Bailey III
"Billy"
November 30th, 1975 - July 5th, 1978
{I took this post from the Gillett's blog. I thought it would be appropriate to have on the family blog.}
"Who You'd Be Today"
Sunny days seem to hurt the most.
I wear the pain like a heavy coat.
I feel you everywhere I go.
I see your smile, I see your face,
I hear you laughin' in the rain.
I still can't believe you're gone.
It ain't fair: you died too young,
Like the story that had just begun,
But death tore the pages all away.
God knows how I miss you,
All the hell I've been through,
Just knowin' no-one could take your place.
An' sometimes I wonder...who you'd be today?
Would you see the world? Would you chase your dreams?
Settle down with a family,
I wonder what would you name your babies?
Some days the sky's so blue,
I feel like I can talk to you,
An' I know it might sound crazy.
It ain't fair: you died too young,
Like the story that had just begun,
But death tore the pages all away.
God knows how I miss you,
All the hell I've been through,
Just knowin' no-one could take your place.
An' sometimes I wonder,
Who you'd be today?
Today, today, today.
Today, today, today.
Sunny days seem to hurt the most.
I wear the pain like a heavy coat.
The only thing that gives me hope,
Is I know I'll see you again some day.
Some day, some day, some day.

Hanging out with Grandpa & Grandma Paskett
Some of the grandkids went to Grandma & Grandpa's to play. They played SPEED and had a bonfire.
Uncle Greg was PerFecT to have around- he began the storytelling, with some sPooKy stories. Then the kids took over and ended with some TRuE stories- like the time Dave and Trish found a dead body in Little Cottonwood Creek down off the hill by our homes in Granite. Even Grandpa & Grandma shared a few of their stories from their childhoods, both funny & scary.

Joshua was hiding from my camera... but I found him.
Dad and his SUPERMAN garbage bag cape!

I just barely caught Matt running by us.
He wouldn't stop to take a picture - I wonder why?
Dave trying to stay dry. He looks good for just running 26.2 miles.
