Colton's farewell was on Sunday, October 31st. So Kelly (& kids), Todd and I decided we were going to make that LONG drive to N. Dakota so we could support him. We all of a new admiration for the Nunley's who make that drive sometimes several times in a year.
NUNLEY'S - THANK YOU SO MUCH for having us there - we had such a great time.
We arrived Friday afternoon. It was so fun to be there and spend time with Colton. That night we participated in a Nunley family tradition - Friday Night Pizza. Gary brought home several Papa Murphy's pizzas - they were absolutely delicious.
On Saturday we carved pumpkins and had Thanksgiving dinner (Colton's request). After dinner Amoray put on a recital. She is an amazing piano player.

Ken & Joanne had packed loaves of Grandma Sycamore's bread (a Nunley favorite) in their suitcases so that we could make stuffing. Digi had put the bread in the oven to dry. We then were going to have pizza for dinner and someone turned on the oven to preheat it and ended up burning the bread. We didn't have any more Grandma's bread but the stuffing we did have was delicious.

Colton gave his talk on Sunday and did an amazing job. Afterwards they had an open house for friends and family.

Colton was set apart on Sunday by his Stake President. It was really amazing. Colton is going to be an AWESOME missionary.
